They will learn different methods of planning and executing their films and have the opportunity to share their masterpieces with their classmates. Students will also use different materials to create their masterpieces, letting their creativity flourish! The course is designed to be open-ended while teaching concrete techniques, allowing your child to problem-solve, find their director's voice, and showcase their passions. Participants will learn hand sewing basics, making stuffies and accessories and graduating on to making their own patterns. Students will have the opportunity to try sewing on a machine, learning the strengths and limitations of different sewing processes. This class is designed to teach concrete skills while allowing space for child-led decision making, embracing problem solving and finding to allow your child's creativity to flourish.
